Traxx Pick: Shannon Chambers “Flight EP” (Mirror Ball Recordings Promo)
With the very first listen, we fell in love with this inconceivably dope EP by Shannon Chambers which includes two equally brilliant tracks, “Flight” and “Basement funk”. Both tracks take you on a scintillating trip down memory lane to the 1980’s when the beloved unpolished, raw and gritty house music sound started to ascend from the Chicago basements, bringing back lots of memories of those good old days… The cherry on top is Terry Hunter’s amazing remix of “Flight”.
