Following his hau5trap premiere, “hiiigh,” venerated producers Tommy Trash and Yolanda Be Cool link up for a funky house excursion, “Emergency” via Yolanda Be Cool’s longtime home label, Sweat It Out Music.
Calling listeners to get their “body on the dancefloor,” the three Aussies’ new joint output holds an air of timelessness, harkening back to dance music’s warehouse era on “Emergency.” Embodied by alluring vocals, crisp basslines, and evocative snares, the track is clearly dedicated to raising heart rates and lifting spirits. Trash and Yolanda Be Cool spent their time in quarantine creatively, curating new music for fans to come back to now that COVID-19 restrictions have slowly begun to wane.
