ANALOG RHYTHMS exhibition and club night returns for festive edition on 23 December
Written by rhythm86 on November 9, 2023
After a successful second edition this past summer, ANALOG RHYTHMS returns to the Racket Space on Saturday December 23rd, once again paying tribute to the club culture of 90’s Dublin, in all its shapes and forms.
Curated by the award-winning music site 909originals.com, this festive edition will feature DJ sets from Dublin dance music legends Liam Dollard, Warren K, and Francois, a panel discussion, as well as an exhibition documenting rave flyers, pictures, and tales from the dancefloor, which will be on display before and during the club night portion of the event.
Since the last hosting of ANALOG RHYTHMS in July, the exhibition has gone online, at www.analog-rhythms.com, and attendees at the forthcoming event are encouraged to bring along any photos, flyers or other memorabilia from the Irish capital’s clubbing history, to contribute to this expanding digital archive.
“The 1990s witnessed significant cultural changes in Ireland, with Dubin’s nightclub industry epitomising this invigorating spirit,” says Steve Wynne-Jones, editor, 909originals.com. “With ANALOG RHYTHMS, we are seeking to celebrate the energy and creativity of those halcyon days, and document the cultural renaissance that took place.â€
Tickets start at €5 and are available here. Check out the vibe from the previous ANALOG RHYTHMS event, which featured acid house legend A Guy Called Gerald.
