Live Stream Black Science Orchestra, Daniel Wang and more set for Dublin Disco All-Dayer

Black Science Orchestra, Daniel Wang, Aroop Roy and more are set to take to the stage at the first-ever Dublin Disco All-Dayer, taking place at Orlagh House in Rathfarnham, Dublin, at the start of February.
Hosted by Fatty Fatty Phonographics, the lineup will also welcome Colm K (of Cork’s Sunday Times parties) going back-to-back with Frawl (from Backwards in Limerick), as well as Conor L, Emma Shigeta, Loose Connections, So Soulful DJ’s, and established crews such as Belfast Music Club and Drogheda’s Dessert Island Disco DJ’s.
The venue, which itself is set on 50 acres in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains, is set to be fitted out with state-of-the-art Klipschorn loudspeakers for the event – the legendary horn-driven speakers that helped soundtrack New York’s The Loft – while the dancefloor itself is situated in a converted church hall.
Daniel Wang is no stranger to Irish shores, having brought his twisted disco sound to Dublin on many an occasion, but the undoubted highlight of the event is set to be Black Science Orchestra, whose original founder Rob Mello will take control of the main room for a live ‘Dex ‘n’ Fx’ set (fellow ‘orchestrator’ Ashley Beedle is sadly ill at the moment and won’t be able to make it).
Fatty Fatty Phonographics is a label run by Pablo, a long-standing stalwart of the capital’s nightlife scene. Through his association with the Downtownsounds, Nightflight, and Fatty Fatty crews, Pablo has been helping to bring a soulful, funky and eclectic range of music to Dublin for well over a decade now – as well as bringing the likes to Lil Louis, Mr Fingers, Metro Area and Nicky Siano to play the Irish capital.
The Dublin Disco All-Dayer takes place at Orlagh House in Rathfarnham, County Dublin, on Saturday 3 February – just the tonic to shake off those January cobwebs. Tickets are available here.
