BLOND:ISH’s new album to be released on LP made from recycled cooking oil
Written by rhythm86 on January 2, 2025
BLOND:ISH has announce that her forthcoming studio album, Never Walk Alone, will be released on BioVinyl, a sustainable vinyl alternative made from biogenic waste, in other words, recycled cooking oil.
The BioVinyl release will be identical in quality to traditional vinyl pressings, and will be available from 14 February.
It forms part of BLOND:ISH’s ‘Sustainable Raving’ movement, from which she launched her foundation, Bye Bye Plastic.
The BioVinyl material is 99.98% petroleum-free, and cuts 90% of the carbon dioxide emissions from the process – ‘leading by example in an industry that relies heavily on fossil fuels to create vinyl records’, according to a statement. You can learn more about the BioVinyl process here.

BLOND:ISH is also inviting fans to become a part of her new album’s story by submitting a photo with a best friend or loved one, which will be woven into a mosaic to be featured on the limited edition BioVinyl package. Fans have the chance to submit their photos on her Instagram Broadcast channel.
Tracks on the forthcoming album, which is set to be released on Insomniac Records, include singles Never Walk Alone, Different Way and Can’t Let You Go (featuring Bantu), the latter of which has become a staple in her recent sets.
