Australian multi-platinum artist CYRIL continues his musical journey with the release of “To The World” EP, a follow-up to his August EP “From Down Under.” Born and raised in rural Australia and now based in Darwin, CYRIL is more than just a producer and DJ. He’s a multi-instrumentalist skilled in guitar, piano, and drums, whose journey from teenager to adult was marked by challenges. His background infuses his music with authenticity and emotional depth, contributing to the widespread appeal of tracks like “Stumblin’ In” and his remix of Grammy-nominated Disturbed’s “The Sound of Silence.” His latest EP features six tracks that further establish his distinctive style, blending bluegrass and country sounds with organic electronic production and emotive vocals. Since the release of his breakthrough hit “Stumblin’ In” in November 2023, CYRIL has indeed gone “From Down Under To The World.” This metaphor is embodied in the combination of his two recent EPs.
‘To The World’ showcases CYRIL’s versatility and artistic vision. “Before I Let You Go,” featuring MarcLo, is a poignant yet hopeful ballad, while “Put Your Records On” offers CYRIL’s unique interpretation of the carefree original. The EP also includes a downtempo house remix of America’s “A Horse With No Name,” reminiscent of his remix of Disturbed’s “The Sound of Silence.”
CYRIL’s stateside story is set to reach new heights as he embarks on his debut US tour starting September 16. The tour will take him to major cities including Chicago, San Diego, San Francisco, New York City, and Washington, DC, with more dates to be announced.
