Insomniac’s Escape Halloween Festival Furthers Its Frightfully Fun Festivities in 2024

Billed as the world’s largest Halloween dance music festival, Escape marked its spooky return to the hallowed grounds of the NOS Events Center last weekend with a few frightfully fun surprises.
Known as one of Insomniac Events’ most immersive experiences, the two-day event included a new layout and expanded footprint to its sinister San Bernardino location. Some of these changes included the expanded Sewer District, the movement of the Crazy Town area, the addition of the Voodoo Village, and a modification of the Wicked Woods stage.
Additionally, this year’s event marked the beginning of Insomniac’s partnership with the beloved electronic music brand, Boiler Room. Held inside The Cauldron, the warehouse venue included the cultural curator’s signature 360° atmosphere for two days of multi-genre productions.
The 2024 edition of Escape would also be the last time attendees would be able to party with one of the festival’s most iconic features, The Grimm.
The giant puppet skeleton, which overlooked the decks inside the main stage for years, is finally being laid to rest after years of eerily commanding the venue’s megastructure. In a post to the event’s Instagram page, the company revealed it would replace The Grimm and return to its Psycho Circus theme for 2025.
The Grimm was just one of the many stages held inside the extensive layout at the world’s largest Halloween dance music festival. From massive race tracks to intimate art cars, each distinct stage was home to a variety of artists from all corners of the electronic dance space.
Take a peek at a few select snapshots from our favorite performances from Escape Halloween 2024.
