In case you missed it, tremolo (popularly known as “stutter house”) has been having a moment. John Summit is the latest to adopt the style on an aqueous, melodic melange of trance and house sensibilities, “Fade Out.” The track, toplined by Toronto-born singer-songwriter MKLA, is notably the last single to release via Off The Grid Records ahead of the label’s rebrand and answers Summit’s lauded official remix of deadmau5 and Kaskade’s “I Remember.”
As the Chicago native and his team ready Off The Grid for its next chapter under a new moniker, they will concurrently prepare for his debut stadium show, set for BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on December 16. Tickets to the live endeavor are available for purchase here.
“Fade Out” is now streaming courtesy of Off The Grid/ Darkroom Records.
