Live Stream Lawrence Hart set to release debut album in April

UK-based DJ and producer Lawrence Hart is set to release his debut album, Come In Out of the Rain, this coming April.
Set for release on Domino’s Double Six imprint, the 12-track album is described by Hart as an “emotional garage record, euphoric and therapeutic”, and has been preceded by a single, Closer To You, which is out now. The stand-out track for us, incidentally, is the bass-heavy Just Belong.
“For a long time, I’d worked on music because I didn’t know how to be in the world. This album is about acceptance and opening myself up,” Hart says of the project.
“I started the Lawrence Hart moniker [his real name is Duncan Toothill] as I wanted to make music to bring people together on the dancefloor and build that sense of community and togetherness.”
Hart trained as a classical musician as a child, and at the age of 15, had auditions at some of New York’s most prestigious music schools, going on to study jazz trumpet at SUNY Purchase.
Soon after, he fell in love with electronic music, developing his production skills while working with fellow Double Six/Domino artist George FitzGerald.
To date, Hart has released on labels such as Hotflush, Attack Decay Sweet Release, LG105, and his own SSEM label.
