Lee Foss reaches landmark 200th release on Repopulate Mars label
Written by rhythm86 on January 15, 2024
Lee Foss‘ Repopulate Mars label has unveiled its 200th release, with the label head teaming up with Skonka and TheConnect on the single Worship Technology.
Last year was a busy one for Foss, who added the North Of Neptune imprint to his portfolio of labels, including Repopulate Mars, Hot Creations (which he co-runs with Jamie Jones) and South Of Saturn, as well as releasing the singles We So Future (with SPNCR and Awsumo), Puppet On A String (with Isabellea and RETNA) and Cadillac (with Ralf).
He follows this up with his first release of 2024, a tie up with LA-based producers Skonka and TheConnect on the new single, which also features Foss taking to the mic to drop some rap phrases.
According to a press release, the track is described as ‘championing groove-led rhythms and old-school vocal drops that marry house music’s founding qualities with the futuristic spirit of the pair’s synth work’, which is ‘conducive to intimate club spaces, festival mainstages and at-home listening alike’.
We’ll leave it up to you to decide – you can download/stream the track here.
To mark the occasion, Foss has compiled a chart of his 20 favourite tracks from the label, which can be found here.
