Man Cub Drops Emotionally Driven Single ‘Still A Light’

After releasing a string of successful singles following 2020’s Album titled Impressions, Man Cub returns with his first single on Seeking Blue Records. Albuquerque-based producer Alec Berve aka Man Cub teams up with Brooklyn-based artist and songwriter Luxtides on ‘Still A Light’. This is the first single off Man Cub’s sophomore album, released via Seeking Blue. Written virtually by the pair alongside artist and songwriter Luma, the song is deeply personal. It tackles themes of grief, uncertainty, and hope just one month after Luxtides’ younger sister was diagnosed with cancer.

The emotional production pairs carefully chosen chords with warm pads and percussion, blending seamlessly with Luxtides’ ethereal vocals, creating a vibey but powerful soundscape that leaves you deep in your feels.
