Live Stream Nightmares On Wax unveils series of ‘Typical’ remixes

Nightmares On Wax has unveiled a series of remixes from Children of Zeus, Fat Freddy’s Drop and Little Dragon’s Rick Ride, who have all served up a rework of the track Typical.
This month marks seven years since the release of Nightmares On Wax’s eighth studio album, Shape The Future, with Typical one of the stand-out tracks from that long player, featuring vocals from Australian soul boy Jordan Rakei. Read more about the track below.
The remix from Children of Zeus, aka MCs and beat makers Konny Kon and Tyler Daley, ‘flips the drums into a dusty, downtempo hip-hop groove with all-new and sultry bars and sensuous late-night chords that melt the heart’, while Fat Freddy’s Drop’s Chris “Mu” Faiumu, aka DJ Fitchie, morphs the track into a jungle workout.
Lastly, Rick Ride reworks the original into a ‘laidback and blissed-out affair with noodling guitar lines, soulful keys and meandering bass’.
