Live Stream Orbital to release extended edition of the ‘Green Album’ – tracklisting revealed

Orbital have announced the release of an extended edition of their classic Green Album, featuring as-yet unreleased tracks, on 19 April.
The album will be released across a variety of formats, including a 4LP box set, 4CD box set, black and coloured 2LP, 2CD, and cassette, and are available to pre-order here.
All tracks have been fully remastered by Orbital’s Phil and Paul Hartnoll, and along with familiar anthems such as Chime and Belfast, the extended release features tracks such as Satan, Macro Head, Torpedo Town, LC1, and Crime as well as unreleased cuts including Open Mind Jam and The Other One.
“Our heroes were always Kraftwerk, Cabaret Voltaire, the Severed Heads – people who made proper, satisfying, full albums,” Paul says of the Green Album recording sessions. “We were like, yeah, that’s what we want to do.”
Additionally, for Record Store Day on April 20, The Green Album will be exclusively available on red and green splatter double vinyl at participating stores.
Orbital are also revisiting their pre-Green Album EPs with a series of ‘Orbital LED’s’ (Limited Edition Drops) – fully remastered versions of the duo’s original 12″ EP series, featuring brand new artwork by Julian House. The first in the series, Chime, has already sold out, with the second to be released soon,
The announcement coincides with Orbital’s Green + Brown Album – Live tour, which takes in dates in New York, Chicago and Miami before hitting the Coachella Festival in California on 13 and 20 April. Then the tour moves to UK and Ireland, with various dates on the agenda including Glastonbury Festival, 30 years on from the duo’s debut appearance at the festival.
