Using his Akai S1100 sampler to incorporate textured grooves into his production, he found instant inspiration when a friend sent him an a cappella vocal. “I had an instant connection to the hook,” Ryan recalls. “I wrote some chords, created a drumbeat, and the rest was history.”

Ryan Bent is a producer whose influences range from electronic pioneers like Depeche Mode and New Order to modern-day giants MK and Gorgon City. His passion for music began at the age of 12, playing the trumpet, and evolved through guitar and into electronic production. After discovering Ableton in 2018, Ryan shifted his focus to crafting dance music, creating tracks that blend classic house elements with modern sound design. Under his former moniker Frank Best, Ryan’s release “Positive” earned support from top DJs and radio stations, including KISS FM Australia, Corecio @ SIRIUSXM, and Armada @ ASOT Sundays.
