Written by rhythm86 on November 14, 2023
Record label Selador Recordings – headed up by Dave Seaman and Steve Parry – is continuing its tenth anniversary celebrations with the latest instalment in its ‘Decade‘ EP series.
Selador Decade EP V features four electronic music collaborations: Charles Webster teams up with Ursula Rucker on Begin Anew, Bebetta joins forces with Smash TV on Hold On, Timo Maas collaborates with Robert Babicz on Eine Reise Zu Zweit, and Steve Parry works alongside Mario Franca and Captain Mustache on the track Nuvem.
To date, Selador has marked its tenth birthday with parties in London, Berlin, Denver, and Amsterdam, as well as limited-edition merchandise, special vinyl editions and five instalments of the Decade series.
Commenting earlier this year, Dave Seaman, co-founder of Selador, reflected on the journey the label has taken to date, “When Steve revealed to me his unfulfilled ambition to have his own record company back in 2012, I knew instantly he would be a great partner to run a label with.
“We had a long-standing friendship, a similar musical outlook, and an unquenchable thirst for discovering new music. Within a few months, Selador was born, and we’ve not looked back.â€
