Sloucho teases forthcoming EP with new single, ‘i found u’

Sloucho has unveiled a new single, i found u, taken from his forthcoming four-track EP, ECHOES, which lands at the end of March.
Described as a ‘sentimental slice of glitchy futuristic hyperpop’, the single, which you can listen to here, is produced using Sloucho’s ECHOES – Experimental Cognitive Holograms Optimised for Emotional Stimulation – platform, which captured the artist’s motion data during his 2024 live shows and trained a custom LoRA on his repertoire, in order to produce original works in his style with near-perfect accuracy.
The Irish artist’s multidisciplinary platform, OUCH, is set to host a showcase event this weekend at Dublin‘s Complex Arts Centre. Entitled ‘Fragments of Eternity’, the event on 15 February will feature Sloucho’s close collaborators, including Spooklet, Rhoshi, Rory Sweeney, Brawni and Vaticanjai, performing in a ’round robin’ format, blending music, theatre and visuals.
“Having first developed ‘The Eclipse Protocol’ last November, our R&D department has now been able to refine their work and synthetically replicate our flagship artist Sloucho to create these new AI humanoids we call ECHOES,” commented Rás, Founder and CEO of OUCH. “By capturing hundreds of hours of motion data during his live performances and training our LoRA on Sloucho’s repertoire, the ECHOES can replicate the artist’s movement and produce original works in his style with up to 98% accuracy.”
OUCH aims to weave ‘music, visuals and experimental storytelling to create an immersive universe steeped in lore and innovation’, which explores the ‘balance between AI and human imperfection’.
Tickets for Fragments of Eternity, which takes place at The Complex on 15 February, running from 10pm to 2am, can be purchased here.
