What’s your personal favourite track on it?
It’s hard to pick just one, but I’d have to go with Buccina by Rob D’Shawn. Rob’s one of my Elevated Academy graduates, and he’s absolutely crushing it right now.
What’s the special ingredient in this mix?
The funky grooves, live edits, and infectious energy that flow throughout—it’s a vibe that keeps building.
Tell us about your next EP?
Soul Sellin’ is dropping on Purple Tea Records in Q1 of 2025. I’m really proud of this release—it’s been a hit in my sets, especially during my Ibiza Rocks residency where I was first road-testing it.
What have you got coming up? 
There’s the Soul Sellin’ EP, of course, but I’m also launching a new cohort of the Elevated Academy Advanced Production program. Plus, I’m hosting an Art of the Remix masterclass, where students will learn how to remix while keeping their unique sound. They’ll even get the stems to my Purple Tea release to work with, and the best remix will earn an official spot on the EP. I’m super excited about that!

Davide T goes till ‘6.00 AM’ on Desolat

Loco Dice’s Desolat label closes out its 2024 release schedule with a bang, welcoming Italian talent Davide T and his fiery three-track ‘6.00 AM’ EP. A rising name in Milan’s vibrant house scene, Davide T makes his debut on the influential imprint with a collection that showcases his knack for tight grooves and percussive flair.
The EP’s lead track, ‘6.00 AM’, bursts onto the scene with a magnetic energy, weaving together sharp drum patterns, fast-paced hi-hats, and warping basslines. The groove is elevated by smooth, soulful female vocals that bring a refreshing contrast to the track’s driving rhythms, creating a hypnotic peak-time weapon.

German DJ and producer Pretty Pink, a Tomorrowland mainstage regular and a powerhouse in melodic house and techno, announces the release of her ‘Born Digital’ Remix Compilation. Out via her own imprint Deep Woods, the compilation reimagines standout tracks from her 2023 debut album ‘Born Digital’, enlisting a carefully curated lineup of some of electronic music’s most innovative artists.
The remix collection showcases Jan Blomqvist, Joachim Pastor, Tim Engelhardt, Lauren Mia, Matchy, Dirty Doering, and others, each delivering their own fresh take on Pretty Pink’s emotive originals. Renegade Masters: DJ Scottie

Over the years, DJ Scottie has built a formidable reputation in the UK rave scene, playing at an impressive array of large-scale events and smaller, more intimate gatherings across the country. His career has seen him grace the stages of legendary events such as Dreamscape, Slammin’ Vinyl, GodKitchen’s Global Gathering, Helter Skelter, Fantazia, HTID, Vibealite, Raindance, Uproar, and Fast Car Magazine at the Excel Centre in London. His versatility as a DJ has also led him to perform at numerous club events, spanning a variety of styles and audiences across the UK.
In addition to his own performances, Scottie has shared the stage with many of the most influential acts in the dance music world, from pioneers in Rave and Hardcore to prominent figures in Drum & Bass, Trance, and Techno. Some of the legendary names he has collaborated with include Slipmatt, Judge Jules, Grooverider, Scott Brown, Fabio, Ian Van Dahl, Dougal, Hype, Dave Pearce, Gammer, Clarkee, Rat Pack, Hixxy, Top Buzz, Nicky Blackmarket, Sy, Micky Finn, Darren Styles, Ellis Dee, Ratty, Seduction, Jumping Jack Frost, Vibes, and Ray Keith. These collaborations highlight Scottie’s broad appeal across a wide spectrum of genres, cementing his status as a respected figure in the electronic music scene.
Although Scottie stopped playing new music at events in 2005, he remains a beloved figure in the scene, often returning to play old skool and classic sets at special events. His ability to capture the energy and essence of the rave scene’s golden era continues to resonate with both long-time fans and newer generations discovering the roots of electronic dance music. His occasional appearances are highly anticipated, as his sets bring a nostalgic yet timeless atmosphere to any event.
I first became aware of Scottie through a friend who told me how good he is, when I saw his name pop up at a local event at Unit Nine in Milton Keynes, I knew I had to get there early so I could see for myself and I wasn’t disappointed…he’s actually far better than some headliners! A chance meeting at Sanctuary Forever, a chat in the smoking area and a couple of Facebook messages later and here we are today…our last mix of 2024!
Given the many years DJ Scottie has dedicated to perfecting his craft, it seems only fitting that he has earned the title of Renegade Master!
