Live Stream Techno legend Eddie Fowlkes teams up with Dames Brown on new single ‘Do It’

Detroit techno pioneer Eddie Fowlkes has teamed up with gospel house producers Dames Brown on a new single, Do It, which has just been released on Defected.
The single, which features both the original and a remix by Dallas-born and Paris-based artist Zach Witness, follows on from recent Dames Brown singles Glory (with Waajeed) and Sweat (with Melvo Baptiste).
Fowlkes, meanwhile, has also been busy recently, with the AHYEE EP, released on Classic Music Company in February, among his releases for 2023. 909originals caught up with him back in June of this year.

According to a press release, ‘The two artist’s styles come together for ‘Do It,’ an unabashed outing of house excellence; Fowlkes’ unmatched talent for vocal manipulation is on full display, as the Dames’ infectious personality and feel-good-spirit are brought to the fore at every turn supported by an instantly arresting beat built for the underground.’
