Tinlicker Releases Lead Single: ‘This Life (feat Tom Smith)’ for Newly Announced Album: Coming February 2024

Written by on November 24, 2023

Multi/Triple Platinum, Multi/Triple Gold laureates Dutch duo Tinlicker drop poignant new single ‘This Life’ feat. Tom Smith to herald their third studio album ‘Cold Enough For Snow’ — coming out in February 2024, which of course will be accompanied by a tour. ‘This Life’ is true to Tinlicker’s recent move to a ‘more organic sound’ for their melodic progressive house. Listen here.

As along with Tom Smith, other notable vocalists on ‘Cold Enough For Snow’ include Placebo’s Brian Molko, renowned Boxer Rebellion’s singer/songwriter Nathan Nicholson (known also for work with Joris Voorn, Claptone, Duke Dumont), UK indie rock band Circa Waves and Julia Church, whose recent Tinlicker collab ‘Slipstream’ gained support from BBC’s Sian Eleri’s Chillest Show and Power Down Playlist, 538 (NL) a.m.m.

“It’s magical that when you grow older life can still be full of surprises… like receiving vocals from the singer of a band (Editors) we’ve been long-time fans of. Signing with [PIAS] Ã‰lectronique made it possibly to work together, and Tom Smith’s singing and writing instantly clicked with the song we wrote. Fitting enough ’This Life’ became our bright new single.

— Tinlicker

The 2024 tour see’s the duo’s return to the UK, including the legendary Troxy London, Marble Factory (Bristol), Mandela Hall (Belfast). EU dates include the iconic Gashouder (NL), Elysee Montmartre (Paris), Magazzini Generali (Milan), Vicar Street (Dublin), Live Music Hall (Cologne), Fabrik (Hamburg)… breaking new ground in many cities/nations.  Full tour dates HERE.
