Lost Lands Fire Policy

Due to the extreme drought conditions in Ohio, the Fire Marshal in the area has banned flame effects, pyrotechnics and propane.

“We’re disappointed by the situation the drought has put us in and wish this weren’t the case… While the environment is out of our control, we’re looking forward to putting on a fantastic festival for you,” the festival said in a statement.

The decision affects Lost Lands attendees in a number of ways:

  • Smoking in any form will not be allowed, but vaporizers are ok
  • Any form of outdoor cooking by attendees with open flame or propane will not be allowed. The order specifically bans cooking near grass.
  • RVs with electric stoves will be permitted as long as they are inside the vehicle, but any form of cooking outside the RV is not permitted including slide outs.
  • Fire lane violations within the campgrounds will be strictly enforced. Please do not extend anything, such as shade canopies, outside of your designated campground space.
  • Do not idle your vehicle once you are parked in your camping spot, please shut off the vehicle.

Lost Lands Camping

One of the best and most authentic experiences at Lost Lands is camping. There are numerous options to camp within the festival’s grounds, which range in amenities and comfort.

Most are sold out, but you can join the waitlist here. See the camping map below.

Tent Only Camping

The most affordable camping option at Lost Lands is GA tent-only camping, which accommodates up to four people and provides a 10’x15′ camping space.

For a slightly upgraded experience, there’s forest tent camping. This option offers a more secluded spot in a lush, wooded area for up to four people. While tent placement is flexible, it’s limited to two sleeping tents and one shade tent.

Both options require you to bring your own gear, but if you’d rather avoid the hassle of setting up a tent and other equipment, there’s easy camping. This option provides a pre-set campsite for two guests, complete with an air mattress, sleeping bags, pillows and chairs.

Car Camping

If you’re bringing your own vehicle, you can choose GA car camping, which provides a 10’x35′ space for 1-2 tents and a standard-sized car.

For a more peaceful experience, you can opt for quiet car camping, where you’ll be surrounded by fellow quiet campers, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.

RV Camping

RV camping is divided into two categories: with and without hookups. Both options include a 20′ x 50′ space for one RV and access to services like water refills and pumps.

However, if you opt for RV camping with hookups, you’ll also get a 30 amp/110v power connection, allowing you to power appliances, charge devices, and keep your RV air-conditioned throughout the festival.

Glamping

If you want an elevated experience and a highly convenient location next to the Village Marketplace, Jurassic Glamping may be for you. With access to air-conditioned showers and restrooms, plus perks like a 16.5′ diameter Bell Tent, a private glamping village with lounges, a complimentary Thursday Early Entry Pass, and more, it offers a luxurious way to enjoy the festival in style and comfort.
