X-Press 2 announce forthcoming new album, ‘Thee’

House music legends X-Press 2 have announced details of a forthcoming new album, Thee, which is set to be released on the Acid Jazz label at the start of October.

X-Press 2, which these days comprises producers Rocky and Diesel following the departure of Ashley Beedle some years ago, have already released three singles from the album, Moov, Zeven and Muse – Moov captures the signature house vibe the group is synonymous with, Zeven contains elements of French Touch, while the latter, Muse, features a more melodic, ethereal sound.

The pair have also undertaken recent remixes for the likes of Gabriels and David Holmes. Thee is their fifth studio album.

Commenting, Rocky and Diesel said, “We’re so excited to be releasing ‘Thee’ with Acid Jazz. It’s been a long time coming, and some of the tracks have been with us for around ten years now.

“It’s fantastic to finally get them finished and pulled together with a bunch of new tunes to form an entirely new album.”

X-Press 2’s Thee is released on Acid Jazz on 6 October on digital, vinyl and CD formats. You can preorder the album here.
