ZOOTAH delivers batch of ‘Cupcakes’ on second STMPD RCRDS original
Written by rhythm86 on June 7, 2023
Yet another requested ID from Martin Garrix‘s hour atop the Empire State Building has arrived. And yes, it was technically debuted a few weeks earlier during ADE, but it will always be considered an Empire State ID. That aside, the ID comes from ZOOTAH, who made their STMPD RCRDS grand welcoming a month earlier with “Cherry Pop” with Mingue. And the Austrian duo has been called back up to double down on their label release sequence with “Cupcakes.”
Garrix brought “Cupcakes” along with him to just about every high-profile appearance in months following ADE, with it being deployed at the likes of Ultra, EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland Winter, and more. An unsurprising, early nominee for one of bass-house’s best products thus far in 2023, “Cupcakes” not only carries on the food-inspired theme from their STMPD RCRDS debut, but also the galvanizing spirit of their recipe within the genre. With a entertaining vocal to push it forward, ZOOTAH’s second round on STMPD RCRDS surely guarantees that their first pair of label releases are only the beginning. Stream “Cupcakes” below.
