TroniKol – Konzo

Genre: Uplifting Trance

Up-and-coming producer and DJ TroniKol kicks off this week’s list. Having released for the first time officially last year, he’s shown expertise from the very beginning. And, most importantly, he’s showing no signs of stopping.

‘Konzo‘ is TroniKol’s first song of 2024, and what a track it is. If you’re a big fan of Uplifting Trance, or Trance in general with a focus on those delicate aspects that make the genre send you into an introspective journey, you’ve got to give this one a listen. Focus on the break, too.

SLØTH – Journey

Genre: Brostep

Swiss-born artist SLØTH has been making quite the name for himself in the Dance industry lately. With an aggressive style of Brostep, he’s made sure to amaze and captivate listeners all over the world. Be careful, it might catch your attention as well.

He recently took part in Bad Medic Records’ first-ever Underdogs compilation, focused on giving the proper spotlight to artists in the early stages of their careers. His contribution? ‘Journey‘. Enjoy modulated growls, disgusting textures, and robotic madness, all in one.

Dersed x kuth – Feel Better

Genre: Big Room Techno, Electro House

Having discovered a passion for the world of EDM back in 2016, Dersed has grown to become one of Canada’s most promising and fastest-growing artists out there. He’s been playing alongside Timmy Trumpet, DVBBS, Morten and others, while his music has travelled to several leading festivals like Tomorrowland and Ultra.

On ‘Feel Better‘, his latest banger, he’s joined by yet another Canadian producer, kuth, for an impressive blend of 2018-inspired EDM break and a contrasting, hard, Big Room Techno monster. Please let us know where this track will be dropped live next — we’d love to be at that festival.

Alok, The Chainsmokers & Mae Stephens – Jungle (Arcando Remix)

Genre: Drum and Bass

Arcando is the artist name of Marc Bandecchi, a 23-year-old Dutch DJ and producer with quite the skills for the job. A sample contributor to Splice, his sound has earned him more than a hundred million plays already, and the eyes of labels like NCS and Armada.

Having delivered official remixes for artists such as R3HAB and Tritonal, he’s keeping the momentum strong by now reworking the Alok, Chainsmokers and Mae Stephens collaboration ‘Jungle‘ into a banging Drum and Bass blissful piece. Have a listen yourself and see why his sound has reached millions.

Phatwell – Time You Got For Love

Genre: Progressive House

If there’s a track that hit us like a truck this week, it was this one. Not only does it showcase a beautiful blast-of-the-past golden era Progressive House, it does so with a very heartfelt backstory. ‘Time You Got For Love‘ is just that, a reflection on how we should use our time not to worry about the little stones, but rather spend it with our loved ones.

Its creator, Phatwell, opened up with us and commented: “Let me tell you about my friend Kamal. He was always that happy, smiling guy that made people feel good just by his presence. But Last November he just decided that he shouldn’t exist anymore. I wrote this song to remind myself that we never know how much time we have left with the ones we love“.

Pascal Junior feat. Martin Oet – Circles

Genre: Progressive House, Deep House

Renowned artist Pascal Junior just released its second artist album, Legacy. Embracing the analogue sound and further refining his core Deep House and Progressive House blended sound, he considers the LP to be a gateway to a new chapter in his career.

‘Circles‘ sees Junior join forces with the sweet voice of London-based Martin Oet, for a track that explores one of the deepest branches of that Progressive House present in the album. Through warm basslines and soft chords, this one will take you on a journey, a circular journey if you will.

Maxxim & flanerr – Moments of Wonder

Genre: Organic House, Progressive House

Does this artwork look familiar to you? It might be because we also shared a track from Songuara last week. The Organic House label is on a roll, and this time, they’ve struck with a release from the label owner himself, Maxxim.

Joined by flanerr for his label debut, they’ve crafted ‘Moments of Wonder‘, a groovy, deep yet melodic piece. If you’ve been to a show of any of these artists, you will have heard it already: Tim Green, Fernando Ferreyra, Nicolas Viana, Antrim, and so many more.

Francis VI & Rampant – Drinking

Genre: Deep House

Do you often feel nostalgia for the recent past? Are you in need of some 2018-2020-ish Deep House? We may have found the track for you. Have a listen to ‘Drinking‘, the latest release in which producer Francis VI joins forces with Indie-Electronic Scottdale-based duo Rampant.

Deep, melodic, and groovy, all at the same time, ‘Drinking’ contains short plucky melodies, warm basslines, and a catchy vocal line. Do you see yourself driving to this late at night? Because we do.

Cheyenne Giles – Let’s Rock

Genre: Bass House

Based in San Diego, producer Cheyenne Giles has learnt to ride the wave of Dance for quite some time. Exploding in popularity in 2018, a year later he would release under Tiësto’s Musical Freedom, and then it was all a matter of time. People love his unique “Big Room Bounce” style.

Recently signed to DIM MAK, ‘Let’s Rock‘ is a fast-paced, Electro-infused Bass House banger. Enjoy this one at a festival surrounded by thousands. It has that sort of energy. Just in time for MMW, too! Clever move.
