Henry and Matthias, known as Stoneface & Terminal, are a renowned German DJ duo with a rich discography on top-tier labels. Endorsed by Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, and Paul van Dyk, they launched Electric Department Records in 2004, producing hits like ‘Merkur,’ ‘Sidewinder,’ and ‘Summerscape/Miami.’ This imprint has served as a platform for their side projects, including Gundamea and Lichtengard, while also showcasing a wealth of fresh and talented acts.
Their collaboration with the leading trance label Euphonic led to a number of chart-toppers including ‘Incognition / Drowning Sunlight’ with Ronski Speed in 2005, and their track ‘Venus‘ was featured on Armin van Buuren’s “A State of Trance” compilation in 2006. With their high-energy DJ sets and dominating power on stage, Henry and Matthias have attracted crowds all over the planet. In 2007, Henry and Matthias released the album ‘Wide Range’, ‘Be Different’ came in 2014, followed by “Altered Floors” under the FSOE label in 2018.
For over 20 years, Stoneface & Terminal have been active and highly appreciated in the trance scene, collaborating with artists like Solarstone, M.I.K.E. Push, Roger Shah, Aly & Fila. Their label FSOE Clandestine has delivered techno and melodic house/techno vibes for almost 8 years, while they keep performing at top clubs and events worldwide, including Pacha New York, Ministry of Sound, Dreamstate, Luminosity, Tomorrowland, and Airbeat One.
After their recent success with Coldharbour, Stoneface & Terminal are back with another banger for Markus Schulz’s label, keeping the 135 BPM hype alive for the upcoming summer festival season. Henry and Matthias were inspired by the card game “Magic: The Gathering,” and the Pulse tracker that lures adventurers to their doom at Malakir’s gates, slowly draining the life from all who face it. But don’t worry, Stoneface & Terminal say that won’t happen when you listen to their “Pulsetracker“. It is fascinating how artists find inspiration in various things around them. Thanks for keeping us alive, Stoneface & Terminal. Joke on a side, one thing’s for sure: no raver will be standing still when “Pulsetracker” blasts from the big speakers. Make sure you get prepared. Head over to the streaming platforms and don’t forget to turn up the volume!
