As a pre-cursor to a forthcoming album on Reel People, Stockholm’s funk god, Opolopo teams up with the unmistakable voice that is Angela Johnson for a real slice of quality. The Ones You Love is everything you would expect it to be – super funky bass, synths gliding throughout and heavenly vocals, and if this first release is anything to go by, the long player will be pure fire. 5/5 Reviewed by Curtis Zack
